Dreams help us remember things we learned during the day! One of the best things you can do when you’re studying is to make sure you’re getting enough sleep. You’ll remember everything better. Dreams and nightmares also help us work through our stresses and our traumas. Sleep is SO important! There’s a really cool book about this called Why We Sleep by Dr. Matthew Walker that’s full of cool info about sleep!

We take in so much information during the day and our brain sorts through this information as we sleep. Sometimes this causes us to have dreams, or sometimes nightmares! Sleep is super important for a healthy brain and it helps our brains take memories from the short-term memory box in the brain to the long-term memory box so we can remember things we have studied!
