Viruses are really great at reproducing in our bodies- they’ve evolved to do it! Different viruses move through the body differently but most hijack our cells, reproduce within them, and then explode out! Thankfully, our immune systems are really good at finding the viruses and shutting them down so we don’t get too sick.

Maureen answered this brilliantly! Our brains have something called the blood-brain barrier that stops a lot of viruses from getting into our brain. It is really cool!
