In the lab, we do all sorts of things. Sometimes we see what parasites animals we found the field have. Sometimes we set up experiments with live animals to see what parasites make them do and how parasites change their health. Sometimes we prepare experiments which we’re putting into rivers or lakes or the ocean to track parasites and hosts.

In the lab I am in it is called an early child lab and we have our eye-tracking tools in there and our other tools to test how a childs brain is developing. We also do all our appointments there! We also have a sleep lab! Babies come into this lab to have a nap while we record their brain waves with an EEG to see what they look like!
