I took a lot of time to decide how I wanted to be a scientist and I worked for a while before starting my PhD. I spent 4 years in secondary school, 4 years in University, and then I did a Master’s degree for a year. After that, I worked for 2 years as a scientific diver. My PhD has taken me four years. 🙂
