• Question: How do we have dreams and nightmares?

      No one is really sure. Sleep is something that we are still trying to figure out. It could be because sleep is a time when the brain does not have to take in anything new and gets a chance to take a look and sort through all the information it has taken in throughout the day, other people think its because your emotions or feelings come through in your sleep giving you dreams or nightmares and other scientists think it may just be your neurons testing out how they fire! So there is a lot more we need to learn about sleep, dreams and nightmares!
