• Question: Do any Parasites go on the hosts brain?

      Yes, there are parasites that do go to the brain. One of them is called Toxocara and you can learn more about it here: https://www.cdc.gov/parasites/toxocariasis/gen_info/faqs.html.

      It’s spread through dog and cat poop, so it’s really important to not touch dog or cat poop with your bare hands and to make sure your pets are healthy! It’s also really great to remember to wash your hands. 🙂

      There was a recent case where a man died years after eating a slug which was contaminated with rat nematodes which developed in his brain.Don’t eat slugs!

      I agree with Bernard. Do not eat slugs. Not even if you want to. The slugs will try to trick you. They’ll say “Eat me, I’m delicious”. But don’t. They’re slugs. If you see a slug that is very long, and kind of pink. That’s a sausage. You can eat that. But only if you cook it.
